Rachel Ligon took both the Set and Office PA workshops at Tammy’Dele Films. “Whatever goal you have, you have to first believe it’s possible, then come up with a plan and deadline, then follow through with it. Be faithful, persistent, and consistent. It will come to pass. Passion and purpose will keep you going.”

New found Passion

At a very early age Michelle had a strong affinity for cosmetics. She was once asked, “If you could do anything in this world and didn’t care if you were paid, what would it be?” That question made her realize that her place was not behind a desk but in-front of a chair; and so what started out as doing makeup for friends and family soon turned into a career as a Makeup Artist. Michelle later attended the Filmmakers Workshop at Tammy’Dele Films which opened up several opportunities for her to work in the film industry. Some of her credits are as follows:

PA Underground — PA/Talent Coordinator, Tammy’Dele Films
Silent Sparrow — Key Makeup Artist, KaeCole Media Productions
Ernie and Cerbie — Casting Executive, Tammy’Dele Films
Ernie and Cerbie — Key Makeup Artist, Tammy’Dele Films
Her work with talent for Tammy’Dele films also opened a newfound passion for Michelle. She has recently established her own casting agency, Chelles Casting. She was intrigued in the process during Ernie and Cerbie and already has a FB page:

Living the Dream

Drew relocated to Atlanta, GA last year and took the Set PA Workshop at Tammy’Dele Films. A month later, he landed his first major gig. Some of his credits include; Black Panther, Godzilla: King of Monsters, Widows, and Stranger Things Season 2.

“This 4th of July I celebrated a decision I made this month a year ago. This time last year I put in my 2 weeks notice at Verizon (which was a good job with good people) in order to pursue a dream of being involved with the tv & film industry. A year later after a bumpy ride, I can say I have achieved what I set out to do. I’ve learned there’s little we can’t achieve if were willing to take the necessary risks and have faith in ourselves.#oneyearanniversary #thankful”

Dreaming Big

“Welp, it happened! I just signed on to be a Jr. story board Producer for a popular reality show on VH1!
These past two years living in Macon have not be the easiest, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m even walking away with a lifelong friend in Shari M. Devereux and I tell you all the time kid, you’ve taught me so much, especially how to dream big. Thank you for always holding me accountable and just being dope as hell lol. #ShoutOutToMyHBCU!!!!

Dream Job at 25

“I am SUPER excited to announce that I have joined the accounting team at Swirl Films (a production company in Atlanta)!! For those of you who don’t know exactly what that entails, it means I get to help with the accounting/bookkeeping for film and television! I am super excited about this job and the doors that it could open as I combine my two worlds, accounting AND film! Don’t worry, I’m still acting too! I am beyond blessed to be able to start my dream job at age 25, and I can’t wait to see what else God does!”
