Have you ever wondered how a film goes from an idea to a full scale production? Have you ever wondered how to pitch your idea or your finished indie film or tv pilot? Are you interested in learning how to get your ideas onto screen? A true producer should understand the entire filmmaking process from start to finish. In our 2 day intensive Producers Workshop, students will learn the entire filmmaking process of “How to make a film backwards” from finish to start!

You will learn:
How the overall film, television and SVOD industry works and how they look for content
Why securing a distributor first will help you raise funds
The levels of proof of concept
How to get your idea on paper (Jot stage, treatment, synopsis, character breakdown, etc.)
How to create artwork for your film
How to create a sales sheet
How to pitch your idea to a distributor
How to raise funds for your film after you have secured a distributor
How to make a budget
How to get through the preproduction phase (Breaking Down a Script, Creating A Budget)
How to find a crew
How cast a film
How to make a production schedule and stick through it during the production phase
What happens in post-production

Refund Policy
All workshops and events offered at Tammy’Dele Films are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, we will gladly switch you to the next available date of the same workshop. We will only reschedule a student once, and the student will have 2 months to redeem. After 2 months or if a student cannot make the rescheduled workshop, the student will need to repurchase the workshop. The only exception is if the class is changed or canceled by Tammy’Dele Films due to weather or other issue out of our control. At that time a refund may be offered if you cannot make the rescheduled class. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy, please call us at 770-716-6736 before purchasing the class.

 

ABOUT INSTRUCTOR

This two-day intensive workshop is taught by producer, writer and educator, Alvin Williams.

Alvin V. Williams is currently Writer, Producer and Educator for Tammy’Dele Films. Williams’ current productions include The Chronicles of Ernie and Cerbie, starring Brogan Hall (Baby Driver), Dominic Pace (Superstore), and Leland Jones (Greenleaf), Street Nurse, The Runner, and Where Is Santa?.

Williams is former Executive Vice President and co-founder of Alchemy Networks, developing a new digital to TV model targeted to the 13 to 34 multicultural millennial and 25 to 54 women of color. Alvin was responsible for marketing, business development, publicity, online, social media and ad sales for Alchemy Networks Youtube Channels.

Williams was also co-producer of the underground dance drama, DREAMS, Codeblack/Lionsgate.
