Acting for Directors
November 3rd, 2018
8:00AM – 7:00PM
Everybody wants to be a director, but how do you become a good director?
In our first Acting for Directors Training, directors learn the fundamentals of directing actors by actually acting and directing actors in the classroom. Understanding the needs and sensitivities of the actor can take a good scene to a great scene.
Here’s what our students can expect to learn in this training:
Who is the actor?
What is the actor expected to do?
Actor Performance Methods
Working with the actor prior to set
Working with the actor in character on set
What happens between takes
Building relationships with actors and their characters
