No one wakes up one day and suddenly becomes the director of Stranger Things. They usually start off as a Set PA.
A Set Production Assistant is the entry-level position on any film or television production. They assist the AD team and make sure the production runs smoothly by holding down their lockups, keeping the area quiet while filming, and of course, getting the Director’s coffee!
